Brathay Hall estate is set in 360 acres at the head of Windermere and is an inspirational place to learn and develop.

The estate supports residential programmes throughout the year; with group accommodation, airy indoor spaces and a large amount of outdoor activities to support your learning programme.

We believe Brathay Hall provides a huge contribution to our programmes; helping to capture the imaginations of young people and adults alike, pushing their creative independence and inspiring them to achieve personal change in a positive and supportive environment.

Across the estate we have a variety of group accommodation from the secluded Eagle Crag and Shackleton Lodge, tucked away amongst the trees, to the bright and airy Old Brathay, overlooking the picturesque River Brathay.

We also offer a large amount of indoor and outdoor activities on site. From creative workshops, like mask making, to high rope challenges, the leap of faith for instance, or water based activity, like rowing in our whaler boats or paddling in canoes on lake Windermere. These activities can be used to help spark realisation, which can develop self-awareness and lead to personal change.
