As part of our community work in the Sheffield area, we manage the community centre on the William Sutton Estate in Hillsborough and also have a centre on Queens Road in Barnsley.
Willian Sutton Community Hall
Our focus is to enable residents to make full use of the facility and we have set up services, mother and toddler groups and various vibrant youth groups.
When not being used for Brathay’s programmes and sessions the hall is available for hire with full kitchen facilities, capacity 60.

As with all the localities where we work, we are always looking to engage with commissioners to achieve positive outcomes for children, young people and their families.
Our staff specialise in delivering programmes that:

We have recently opened a new centre in Barnsley, and currently have two programmes running there:
Princes Trust TEAM: A programme for NEET young people, empowering them to develop the confidence, aspirations and skills they need to get into work, training or education.
Time 4 You!: A programme to support young people who have suffered bereavement providing Saturday morning activities for 10-16 year olds. For parents and grandparents with terminal illnesses, the sessions give them the peace of mind that their children have somewhere to go where they find support to get them through the grieving process.
We will also be expanding our work in the area over the coming months.
