8 teams from around the country completed the RowRunner Challenge in September 17.

Racing by whaler rowing boat two lengths of Windermere, England’s longest lake, stopping off along the way for runners within the team to scale 3 local peaks around the lake. The teams raised vital funds for Brathay’s work with young people while building their team and communication skills in an inspiring location.

BAE Systems from Barrow sponsored the event, as part of their support for Brathay’s work with children and young people in Furness.
