At work

Rope in your colleagues and have some fun. Some of the ways Lakeland have fundraised for us are; bake sales, limerick competition, treasure hunts and raffles.

Bake Sale for Brathay
When I was introduced to Brathay's work it completely blew me away. Within a short space of time we had formed a team ... Whatever we raise we just hope to be able to help Brathay's exceptional work.

At home

Could you hold an event at home? How about a hog roast or coffee morning? Or can you get crafty and make something? One enterprising Brathay supporter made and sold dog biscuits and another makes and sells cards.

Through Facebook

Thanks to some handy new tools on Facebook you can now run fundraisers through the site to raise money for us!

Simply head to our Facebook Fundraisers page here and hit 'Raise Money' in the top right of the page. You can then select the amount you would like to raise and the time limit it should run for and off you go - share share share!

Every time someone donates your total will go up and the money will come directly to us. This makes it nice and easy for you and will be a really help to us.

Take on a challenge

The Terminal Trundlers, a group of work mates, take on a long distance bike ride each year and have donated the money raised to Brathay. Alternatively try giving something up; one of our colleagues here at Brathay gave up speaking for a sponsored silence!

When listing an item on eBay you can choose to donate a percentage of an item’s final selling price to Brathay through the eBay for Charity fundraising programme. Your item will feature our name and logo so buyers know they’re supporting a worthy cause.

Amazon Smile

From laptops to lap trays, car phone holders to carpet cleaners and even suits that look like Christmas wrapping paper (trust us on this) you can buy just about anything on Amazon. Now, your online purchase can help us too.

AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you already know. Same products, same prices, same service.

Visit Amazon Smile

All you need to do to support us is go to smile.amazon.co.uk instead. Once there, log in as normal and you'll be asked to select a charity to support. Look us up, select, and you're all set to go shopping with one very important difference - Amazon donates 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of eligible purchases to us.

Splashing out on a nice new laptop? Buying a £500 model via Amazon will get us £2.50. Even a tenner on a multipack of socks will see 5p heading our way.

No extra cost to you, no change to your normal Amazon shopping routine, and we get some additional funds to support our work.

It's got us smiling!
