Caroline Holmes describes Brathay as the safety net that caught her when her and her son were falling. 

So here's our story: we came into contact with our Brathay keyworker Charlotte a year ago and it was the best thing that could have happened. She came into our home very friendly and after 45 minutes of talking to her about my struggles, and my son Sam's struggles at school, money issues and our general wellbeing, she started to have an impact on our lives that I would never have imagined. Fast forward 12 months and boom! I'm in a much better place, I'm on top of my bills, Sam is on the right pathway at school, thanks to an amazing women Linda from Sure Start who Charlotte introduced me to and I feel like I can breathe for the first time in years all because of Charlotte. Brathay has been my net which caught me when I was falling.

Brathay has helped so much in the Covid pandemic too with the activity packs and new ideas for cooking. Things I'd never think of doing! I've actually made pizza from scratch with yogurt! Me and Sam even came 1st at one activity. I'd be lost without the help from Charlotte and the Brathay team. She's a very special women with an amazing team behind her (angels without wings) all of them! I know she'll do the same for other families lucky enough to come into contact with her. Charlotte your amazing and thank you Brathay team from the bottom of our hearts.
