We have a full range of outdoor learning activities that takes advantage of our beautiful and diverse home in the Lake District. Your programme itinerary will be tailored by the course director with activities that meets your needs and objectives and make use of the time you have with us, whether it's a day or full week. Through our 'challenge by choice' approach, participants are encourage, but never forced, to stretch themselves as far as they want to. Our delivery team are experts in this process to ensure everyone gets exactly what they want from the experience.
Specialist equipment is provided for all activities.

CANOEING AND KAYAKING
Our open-topped canoes offer fun team adventures, or go it solo and power yourself with one of our kayaks.

ROPES COURSES
Lots of different challenges to try, some are high up and others are a little closer to the ground, all require supportive team work and challenging yourself.

GHYLL SCRAMBLING
We'll whisk you and your group off-site to a nearby ghyll where you can enjoy the challenge of making your way up a rocky river ravine, standing under a waterfall and jumping into plunge pools. Cold, wet and exhilarating.

PROBLEM SOLVING
There's plenty of fun to be had with our problem solving activities. Teams help each other with a mix of mental and physical challenges testing their planning and communication skills to the full.

HILL TOP JOURNEY
A guided walk in the Lake District gives you and your group the opportunity to take in the stunning views, explore nature and reflect on your residential so far. Whether up a local fell or along a river bank, it will be an unforgettable experience.

ZIP WIRE
Quick! Or you'll miss it. Harnessed in you'll zip down the valley for stunning views of the lake and fells.

ORIENTEERING
Navigation skills are important to have when enjoying places like the Lake District safely. Our on-site orienteering course asks teams to work together to navigate our grounds and tick off checkpoints along the way.

BUSH CRAFT
Back to basics! A rare opportunity to learn outdoor bushcraft skills, including how to build a shelter or set up a campfire safely, all whilst looking after nature too. S'mores and hot chocolate is on the menu!

LEAP OF FAITH
Bringing together everything learnt on your residential, take the leap of faith. Safety ropes are looked after by the group (supervised by our team) to encourage trusting yourself and your peers.
