We’re absolutely delighted to share that Jane Carter, President of Universal Production Music, has joined us as a patron. Jane is a wonderful addition to the community of patrons we've grown over the last year, and having her on board during our 80th anniversary year makes it feel even more special.

When Jane visited us last year, she got a real feel for the energy and dedication behind everything we do.

Hearing the stories of how the Trust has helped thousands of young people in building brighter futures over the years was such a positive and motivating experience.  It is an honour and privilege to join the team as a patron of Brathay, and I’m looking forward to supporting this precious organisation.

Jane brings more than 25 years of experience in the music and media industry, and she’s the first woman to lead global production at a major music publishing company – an incredible achievement. Her commitment to creativity, opportunity, and helping young people shine fits perfectly with our vision.

As we continue celebrating 80 years of working alongside young people to help them build brighter futures, having Jane join our Brathay family feels like the perfect addition. Her voice, experience, and passion will help us reach even more young people who deserve support, encouragement, and the chance to believe in themselves.

She now joins our inspiring group of patrons, alongside our ambassador, Fatima Whitbread MBE, who continues to champion the work we do.
