Volunteer at our Windermere Marathon

21 April 2022

Please sign up as a volunteer and help us make this the best Windermere Marathon ever!

Held at Brathay Hall, Ambleside, the ASICS Windermere Marathon is one of Cumbria's most popular annual events, welcoming around 1000 runners and their families to the most scenic race in the UK. As a volunteer you'll be helping all our runners and supporters, as well as those taking part in our new 5K family run, and our ultra athletes who will be running the last of their 10 consecutive Windermere Marathons as they finish our epic 10in10 event.

EMAIL TO SIGN UP

There are so many great reasons to sign up as a volunteer with us. Here are just a few:

Receive a FREE space in one of our future Challenge events

If you're looking to sign up to a race, volunteer with us and we'll give you a spot for free! Later in the year we have the Langdale Half and Marathon, Christmas Pudding 10km and our brand new trails Ambleside 50km and 25km - take your pick.

Make new friends and improve your self esteem

Did you know that volunteering can give you confidence boost? From the social interactions, to having a sense of a purpose there are lots of reasons why volunteering helps others and yourself too.

Help our charitable mission

Volunteers are vital in our fundraising efforts and all the money raised at ASICS Windermere Marathon goes to projects that support young people in real need in the Cumbria, Yorkshire and Humber.
