Funding Boost for Our Bradford Centre!
We’re thrilled to share the news that our Bradford Centre has received a generous donation of £10,000 from the Morrisons Foundation! This funding will allow us to transform our youth space, creating a new and inspiring creative space shaped by the young people we work with.
At Brathay, we’re passionate about ensuring young people have access to safe, welcoming, and creative environments where they can express themselves, build confidence, and develop new skills. Thanks to this funding, our Bradford youth space will be modernised with valuable art resources, helping young people connect with their creativity, form friendships, and take steps toward a brighter future.
Jennie Moore, our Head of Delivery in Communities, summed it up: “This project is being shaped by the young people we support, ensuring it truly reflects their needs and aspirations for youth provision in Bradford.”
To celebrate this fantastic news, we were delighted to welcome Naz Shah, MP for Bradford West, to our centre. She took the time to meet our team and hear more about the difference this funding will make. She was incredibly supportive, saying: “A huge congratulations to Brathay on being awarded £10,000 for their new youth art space, which will provide vital creative and therapeutic opportunities for young people in Bradford. I look forward to closely working with them to support their initiatives and their impactful work.”
We’re also incredibly grateful to the Morrisons Foundation for believing in our work and supporting young people in our community.
