We’re delighted to share that Angela Salt CBE has joined Brathay as one of our Patrons. Angela brings incredible experience and a real passion for helping young people thrive, which is at the heart of everything we do.

Angela has spent her career championing youth development and making a difference in communities across the UK. She’s led Girlguiding UK, one of the country’s biggest youth organisations, and headed up the Tony Blair Foundation. Most recently, Angela was recognised in the New Year Honours list, receiving a CBE for services to Girlguiding, a well-deserved achievement that reflects her lifelong commitment to making a difference. Today, she continues to play an active role in the charity and public service sectors.

I’m an admirer of the work of the Brathay Trust in inspiring young people to build their own brighter futures. I’m inspired by the young people’s own stories and look forward to joining the team and supporting young people through the power of the outdoors, adventure and community.
