This is a unique opportunity to join an established department within a local charity. You’ll be part of a team that delivers inspirational running, cycling, rowing and walking events, all raising funds to support children and young people.

In this role you’ll be responsible for the provision of high quality, safe and cost-effective Challenge Events. You’ll:

  • Work closely with Business Development to deliver our income and profile within annual plans
  • Oversee the delivery of all Challenge Events and acts as Safety Officer to major Challenge Events
  • Develop budgets for all Challenge Events, ensuring that they operate within parameters that meet annual financial plans
  • Lead on staff and volunteer planning to provide a resource that meets the needs of our events

Voluntary Work

Brathay recognises the value of offering volunteering opportunities, which offer individuals experience and personal development opportunities, as well as giving them the opportunity to give something back to their local community. Brathay recruits volunteers as part of its plans to broaden and expand the involvement of the community in its work.

Brathay offers a limited number of week-long work placements. Each placement includes experience of the following areas:-
