Business Support Manager

Business Support Manager Job Advert

Are you passionate about customer service, making a difference and leading a team? 

We are a busy social enterprise with various revenue streams to support our charity work with young people and families in real need. We are looking for an experienced business manager to run a team of five, delivering a consistent, high quality service to a wide range of different customers.

This is a new role which will be key in ensuring that internal processes and services are easy to use, customer focused and efficient. The successful applicant will lead and manage a small team to deliver transactional services in the following areas:

As well as transactional activity the team also provide specialist support by ensuring the necessary compliance frameworks are in place which meet legal frameworks (i.e. Data Protection, Employment Law) and industry standards (i.e. ISO).

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of managing a team to deliver exceptional customer service (ideally as part of a shared service) along with a proven track record in improving business processes. Experience in HR or finance is desirable. This is a demanding role, so being able plan and prioritise while remaining flexible is essential. An excellent grasp of IT and understanding the benefits of operating digitally is also required.

Voluntary Work

Brathay recognises the value of offering volunteering opportunities, which offer individuals experience and personal development opportunities, as well as giving them the opportunity to give something back to their local community. Brathay recruits volunteers as part of its plans to broaden and expand the involvement of the community in its work.

Freelance Work
