The tenure of our CHAIR, TREASURER and one other TRUSTEE is coming to an end and we are now inviting applications for these valued roles.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to take responsibility as part of the Board for the governance and strategic objectives of our charity in line with legal and regulatory guidelines.

Above all, you will play an important part in supporting our lake district and community-based programmes, bringing hope and positivity into the lives of thousands of struggling young people every year.

Voluntary Work

Brathay recognises the value of offering volunteering opportunities, which offer individuals experience and personal development opportunities, as well as giving them the opportunity to give something back to their local community. Brathay recruits volunteers as part of its plans to broaden and expand the involvement of the community in its work.


Work Placements

Brathay offers a limited number of week-long work placements. Each placement includes experience of the following areas:- 

• Outdoor Learning 
• Finance & Administration 
• IT & Marketing 
• Hospitality

Freelance Work

Brathay greatly values the contribution made by freelance staff to our Young People and Corporate delivery teams.
