Management Accountant

£35,000-£37,000 pro-rata | 21 hours per week (part-time) | Ambleside

Reporting to the Head of Finance and managing two experienced Finance Officers, the Management Accountant will oversee the accounting function and financial procedures, preparing management accounts, forecasts and budgets. 

If you are driven by data, have strong analytical skills, scrupulous attention to detail, and are highly organised, then we encourage you to apply.

To excel in this role, you'll have:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification or qualified by experience
  • Experience of managing financial ledgers, systems and processes
  • Experience of preparing management accounts and budgets
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, and the ability to manage large amounts of data
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear way
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels, including non-finance members of staff
We're hiring a Management Accountant. Location, Ambleside, Cumbria. Hours, 21 hours per week (part time). Salary, £35,00 to £37,000 pro rata.

Mental Health Project Worker

24.5 hours per week (part time) | £23,000 pro rata, per annum | Bradford

This is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2025 with the possibility of extension, subject to funding.

Casual/Seasonal General Assistant or Housekeepers

We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Guest Services team on a casual or seasonal basis.

Our Guest Services team plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all our guests, including big corporations, children and young people on residentials, accommodation guests and staff.

Are you a highly organised and friendly individual with excellent communication skills? Brathay is seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our team.

To excel in this role, you'll have:

  • Experience of providing excellent customer service in a receptionist or similar role
  • A positive, approachable and flexible working style (face to face, telephone, and email)
  • Numerate skills and be accurate and willing to develop an understanding of basic business finance
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone
  • Competent skills and be a proficient user of spread sheets, word processing, MS Office and booking websites.
We're hiring a receptionist t. Location, Ambleside, Cumbria. Hours, 35 hours per week. Salary, £21,000 per annum.
