If you’re looking for a stunning location with adaptable space to hold your next event, Brathay Hall is the ideal place. We have several group room spaces for different needs, a large front lawn ideal for a marquee or tipi that offers a stunning backdrop of Windermere and the Lakeland fells. There is up to 37 en-suite accommodation to host overnight guests, plus ample free-parking on site to cater for large numbers.

We have a large front lawn, ideal for a marquee or tipi, that offers a stunning backdrop of Windermere and the Lakeland fells. Plus, your exclusive-use includes a wide range of en-suite rooms, with the option to add more beds with our self-catering properties.

What we offer:

  • The hire fee is a set price for exclusive use of the main hall, front lawn and 37 en-suite rooms sleeping up to 62 people over 2 nights.
  • 4 self-catering group properties are also available to hire (at additional costs), sleeping up to 100 people.
  • Lake-side access for photographs.
  • Spacious and smaller rooms in the Main Hall for your own use.
  • Supplier’s list — we can provide you with recommendations for local suppliers including caterers, photographers, florists, tipis, celebratory cakes and more
