What is ALP?
The Aspiring Leaders Programme (ALP) aims to enhance leadership in the third sector, by supporting local people to gain crucial experience, develop essential skills, and acquire the knowledge needed to become influential community leaders who can drive positive change.
ALP is a unique and innovative fully-funded apprenticeship degree programme aimed at those for whom university may not have been an option due to their academic or financial background.
Led by Brathay Trust, in partnership with a local university, ALP combines formal academic teaching with experiential learning and dedicated mentoring. At the end of the 3-years, participants achieve a fully accredited Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA).
