Ever dreamt of making a real impact in your community? Our Aspiring Leaders Programme (ALP) might just be your gateway to turning that dream into a reality.

What is ALP?

The Aspiring Leaders Programme (ALP) aims to enhance leadership in the third sector, by supporting local people to gain crucial experience, develop essential skills, and acquire the knowledge needed to become influential community leaders who can drive positive change.

ALP is a unique and innovative fully-funded apprenticeship degree programme aimed at those for whom university may not have been an option due to their academic or financial background.

Led by Brathay Trust, in partnership with a local university, ALP combines formal academic teaching with experiential learning and dedicated mentoring. At the end of the 3-years, participants achieve a bachelors degree in leadership and management.

Applications for ALP 5 are now open. They will close 12th July 2024 (extended deadline).
