Celebrating 80 years of supporting young people
As pioneers of the outdoor education movement Brathay has been at the forefront of young people’s development for 80 years.
Established in 1946 by Francis C. Scott, the charity is dedicated to improving the life chances of young people. With a rich history of empowering young people through experiential learning and community support, Brathay Trust continues to impact lives positively, fostering resilience and unlocking potential in young people from across the UK.
In the last 80 years, we’ve had the privilege of meeting so many remarkable people at Brathay. Their journeys didn’t end when they left, in many ways, they were just beginning. We love hearing how their experiences here helped them grow, and we think you will too.
