Our Bradford Youth Centre is located in the heart of the city and allows us to deliver innovative programmes that help young people and families to make positive choices in their lives.

Our team’s dynamic, award-winning approach is - as with all that Brathay does - enthused by a belief in the transformational power of people working together.

Programmes run from the centre include:

  • Families First: keyworker support for troubled families
  • Alternative education sessions with Yr 10 & 11 students 
  • Pupil Referral Unit sessions with young people attending Bradford College
  • Music projects in partnership with local artists
  • A ‘tenancy ready’ programme working with young people from a variety of backgrounds including young offenders, young people in the care system and those leaving care to provide them with life skills to get them ready to live independently 
  • Art college with young offenders
  • National Citizen Service
  • Social action programmes with a focus on enterprise and social enterprise
  • Princes Trust TEAM 12 week programme
  • Group & individual work with young people at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE)

Facilities at our Bradford Youth Centre include:

  • Music studio
  • Small Dance & sports space
  • Hall area – can be used for sessions with large groups 
  • 2 x Meeting rooms which can comfortably fit up to 15 people each
  • Large ground floor room for group sessions, with wifi access, seated area for group discussions and disabled access 
  • Disabled toilet
  • Shower and laundry facilities
  • Prom/craft shop run for young people by young people
