Payroll Giving

You can make a regular tax-free donation direct from your pay cheque with Payroll Giving. If your company operates a Payroll Giving scheme just inform them of how much you want to give and how often. Your gift is then transferred from your pre-tax pay without you having to do anything else. Ask your employer for information about Payroll Giving, or contact us for a confidential and informal chat - we will be delighted to advise you. Contact us by email about payroll giving by clicking here or call us on 015394 39728.

If your company shares our values of ‘Inspire, Support, Share & Achieve’ and wants to gain business benefits in a constructive way, we would be delighted to discuss a tailored partnership with you.

Volunteering as a mentor on the New Beginnings project was such a rewarding experience - knowing that I was, in a small way, helping a young person to make a difference to their life. It wasn't easy, and at times challenged me, but the staff at Brathay were there to help and put on some brilliant and fun training events.

Lakes Cottage Holidays are supporting us by asking their customers if they would like to make a donation when they book a holiday.

Brathay Trust was the logical choice for us to nominate as our Charity of the Year. We like to champion worthwhile causes, especially local ones, and what better cause is there than improving the lives of our children for generations to come. Brathay Trust do an amazing job in helping children, young people and their families whose lives are difficult; they might be leaving care or being sexually exploited and with the help and support of the team at Brathay Trust many of these young people’s futures can be transformed.

Network Rail coordinated a team of employees, their suppliers, resources and materials to build an accessible footpath to the boathouse at Brathay Hall making lake based activities available to all.

We were delighted to use some of our construction and engineering skills to provide the new path. It’s not only helped make the boathouse accessible but we’ve gained workplace skills in the process. It’s been a win-win situation for us all.
