Our fundraising pack and information sheets make raising money for Brathay easy!

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to raise funds for Brathay…

…so we have created the following information packs to help you on your way! Whatever you decide to do, there are more details in the pdf files in each section that you can download and print out. If you need any help or additional information, just email our fundraising team at fundraising@brathay.org.uk or ring us on 015394 39777.

Fundraising Pack

We’ve put together a handy fundraising pack which is full of ideas, tips and information for you to download!

Running a Marathon

Running a marathon can be extremely challenging. However, every runner has a different experience of running the 26.2 miles needed to complete a marathon course. Running a marathon on behalf of Brathay Trust is more than that – you not only get the feeling of accomplishment at finishing the distance, you also have immense pride at completing a race where you have helped to raise money for vulnerable young people.

Parachute Jump

Skydiving is a truly unique experience. From the adrenalin rush of the free fall, to the serenity of the slow gentle glide back to earth, the day will be one that you will never forget. By doing a parachute jump for Brathay you won’t just have the experience of a lifetime; you will also give young people the opportunity to turn their lives around.

The 3 lakes Challenge

A group challenge (15-20 people) is a great way to build team spirit or just simply have fun. Whether work colleagues, a sports team or a group of friends, you’ll need to have endurance and the ability to cooperate to be able to finish the 12-hour long paddling and rowing challenge. But in that time you will be able to enjoy the splendour of the breath-taking scenery of the Lake District.

Supermarket Bag Packing

This challenge is suitable for a group of young people who want to help their peers. Assisting supermarket customers to pack their shopping does more than ease their shopping experience. It can also help shoppers to feel good about themselves; having helped vulnerable and disadvantaged young people around the UK.

  • Download our Supermarket Bag Packing Guidebook by clicking here.

We have also created three Microsoft Word documents to help you with you Bag Pack, including posters for you to add your information to and print, a covering letter to send to your supermarket and even a bucket wrap!

Alternative Activity

Are you already signed up to a sponsored event? A bike ride? Or perhaps a swim or a sponsored walk? If you are, or if you haven’t found a suitable option from the suggestions above, but would like to raise funds for Brathay, let us know by email. Send us your contact details and supply us with information about the event you are participating in, or the one you’d like to take part in. We will then contact you and we’ll even help you with you fundraising. All the best for your challenge!

Sponsorship Form

You may want to do some or all of your fundraising the old-fashioned way, and get people to fill out their details on a sponsorship form. No problem! Head down to the “Supporting information” section at the bottom of this page and you’ll find one ready for you in Microsoft Word format.

Here are some other things you can do to help us…

Everyclick Search Engine

Use Everyclick to search the web, and Brathay receives a small donation at absolutely no cost to you, every time you use it! Go to Everyclick and click on the Home icon.

Internet Shopping

Easyfundraising is a directory that links you to online stores such as Amazon, John Lewis, NEXT and over 400 others. Everytime you use easyfundraising to link to one of these sites we will receive a donation of up to 15% of the value of your purchase – at no cost to you.
