Developing a World Class Children's Workforce
Brathay development programmes contribute to the achievement of a world class children’s workforce. Our confidence is underpinned by over 70 years of experience and a commitment to ensure research informs our practice. This makes Brathay an essential supply if your focus is education, children’s services or voluntary services.
The brighter futures policy set out the government’s ambition that this should be the best country in the world for children and young people to grow up in. It recognises that the people who work – and volunteer – with children and young people are critical to achieving those ambitions; Brathay consistently delivers new approaches in support of this vision, helping people deliver more with less, increasing collaboration and innovation in light of the government 2010 spending review. Brathay shares the government’s desire to develop a world class workforce where everyone who works with children and young people should be:
- Ambitious for every child and young person
- Excellent in their practice
- Committed to partnership and integrated working
- Respected and valued as professionals
