Posted Wednesday, 11 August 2010, 11.30am
Brathay Yorkshire & Humber have launched an intensive Summer Academy, aimed at raising aspirations for Looked After Children across the district, to complement our term-time looked after children raising attainment programme ‘Going Places’. Young people will attend a full week of activities including DJ Skills workshops, Art and Design, T-Shirt Printing, Multi-Sports, Archery, Team Games and trips out in the community, plus an outdoor experiential learning day at Brathay Hall. All young people, parents, carers and stakeholders will be invited to attend a celebration event to be held at Kalasangam, St Peter’s House, Bradford on Friday 27th August 2010 to showcase work from the project and receive their certificates of attendance and nationally recognised accreditation of the course.
