We work with groups of young people and families who have specific needs due to the situations in which they find themselves.

For example, they may be sexually exploited, misusing alcohol and/or substances, self-harming, young carers, or looked after young people. We work with them to make them more confident and more able to take control of their lives and assert their rights.

Our programmes under this theme are designed to reduce young people’s dependency on long term support, to increase their attainment and improve the way in which they integrate into their community. Our unique approach also supports improved resilience, enabling young people to better cope with and adapt to setbacks and adversity.
