Raise money for Brathay Trust whilst competing in a distinctive team challenge based on Lake Windermere!
The event is aimed at corporate teams of 7 and combines team rowing and running - racing against competing teams and the clock! The course involves rowing 20 miles on Windermere in the distinctive Brathay Whaler boats dropping runners off to race up 3 popular peaks around the lake: Latterbarrow, Gummers How, and Wansfell. A final rowing sprint finishing back the the boathouse on Brathay Hall estate at the north of the lake.
The event involves:
- 8 teams in 8 boats
- 7 people/team - 4 x rowing, 1 x helmsman, 2 x runners
- Beat the course record of 6hrs 58mins!
- Entry fee includes 2 x nights full board at Brathay Hall and sponsored sports hydration and nutrition products
- Trophy for the winning team
- Medals and T-shirts for all teams
- Big post race party at Brathay!
Entry fee: £2000 / team. Teams will then be supported in raising sponsorship for disadvantaged young people. There are opportunities for organisations to match fund their team’s efforts.
