Multi-agency working

Working in integrated Children’s Services

A programme for staff working in multi-agency teams.

All our programmes are designed to address the challenges of working in a multi-agency environment.  This programme is ideal for new members of the Children’s Workforce, those new to working in multi-agency or integrated teams and as a refresher and update for current staff.

Aims:

To develop a practical understanding of the purpose of integrated working in Children’s Services.

Outcomes

By the end of the programme participants will be able to:

  • Understand the unique nature of integrated Children’s Services
  • Explain the purpose of Every Child Matters and its implications for integrated working
  • Describe the composition and nature of the Children’s Workforce and the range of organisations, professions and roles it comprises.
  • Develop understanding of the skills and knowledge required for working in integrated Children’s Services
  • Define the contribution they can make to improving outcomes for children, young people and families.

Participant profile

Practitioners, leaders, managers and support staff working in the statutory, voluntary and private sectors that form part of the Children’s Workforce.

We are also commissioned by the National College for Leadership of Schools and Children’s Services to deliver MATD to multi-agency teams to support the achievement of collaborative advantage.
